Pastor Chanda Simmons Glorifying God

Pastor Chanda Simmons is a leader on the front lines of ministry bringing hope, guidance and inner healing through God's Word to souls that are held in captivity. Chanda Simmons is the Pastor and Founder of Christ Deliverance Ministries, located at 1625 E. Mains Street, in El Cajon, California.

Pastor Simmons has a powerful anointing as she preaches, teaches, and counsels. Many people have experienced deliverance, healing, and salvation as she delivers the Word in a straight forward, uncompromising way.

Pastor Simmons is passionate about helping men and women experience deliverance from the chains that keep them bound. Her God given ministry, Christ Deliverance Ministries, carries that passion through with its vision to be a vehicle for people to be set free from their inner struggles by lining up with the Word of God. Christ Deliverance Ministries offers hope as people are taught as a disciple to obey the Word of God and trained to be instrumental in building up the Body of Christ.

Pastor Chanda Simmons was born in Harlem, New York where her mother did all she could to raise Chanda, her brother,and sister. Her early years were filled with gang violence, abuse, and the wild ways of the world. She says, "When I was in darkness (the world) I gave it all I could, and now that I am in the Kingdom of God, I can do nothing less...than to give Him ALL OF ME!"

The turning point when Pastor Chanda Simmons gave her all to Jesus came over a period of time while living in Kentucky. She began to attend church faithfully. After months of listening to the Word, Chanda Simmons broke down and surrendered herself to Christ.

She went on to a ministry in evangelism eventually serving as a National Evangelist under the leadership of Barbara A. Brown, Pastor of the Lighthouse Mission church. She continued as an evangelist while earning her Bachelor's Degree in Christian Counseling.

After 16 years and a bit of a struggle, Pastor Simmons answered God's call to be a pastor. She started Christ Deliverance Ministries in September of 2006 starting out with a Bible Study. They grew to a point of needing more space and met at a school auditorium. Now, in their new "temple" season as they call it, they meet at 1625 E. Main Street, Suite 104 in El Cajon, California. Pastor Simmons continues to preach and teach following God's destiny for her life in building the kingdom of God through the reconciliation of His people.

Recently, Pastor Simmons has endeavored to find ways to find some financial freedom to continue in the office as a pastor. She is a great example of someone who is determined to go forward with God's call on her life while working hard to find other ways for financial freedom.

Pastor Simmons has not let anything deter her, even when challenged by the using her computer and on the internet. She has dug her heals in with determination working a home based business for a year and attaining the position of Regional Sales Director. She continues in this pursuit of financial freedom as she learns more about a ministry marketing strategy for herself and her church.
