Margaret Mitchell and God's Love at Work
Margaret Mitchell is one great example of a marketplace woman who is moving in her destiny to reach out to Christian businesswomen, and stay at home moms, with her God's Love at Work ministry. Margaret's vision for her ministry to women was birthed out of her marketplace position as a Flight Attendant. For 16 years, Margaret Mitchell had a work schedule that took her out of town on the weekends.. Amidst a worldly and often times lonely environment, Margaret came to a place where she cried out to God for support and encouragement. God not only provided the comfort and hope she needed, but also the plan to make her work position as a Flight Attendant her own mission field.! Margaret became one of God's shining stars in the sky as she prayerfully reached out to share God's love as she met the needs of thousands of passengers and crew members all over the world!
Three years ago Margaret retired from the airline industry and began her quest of reaching the needs of marketplace women by developing the God's Love at Work Foundation. Out of her desire, her destiny, to help other women at work in the marketplace, she published her own workplace testimony, entitled "100 Passengers", and began the God's Love at Work website. This year she expanded her ministry efforts to include the 2008 Women's Expo in Atlanta, Georgia You can see Margaret Mitchell's ministry marketing strategy as she reaches out sharing God's love with revelation messages for Christian businesswomen via conferences and Expos, her own e-zine weekly devotional, blogs, books, CD's, the Godsloveatwork.com website, and tele-seminars.
All of these fantastic marketing tools you can use too! In addition, Margaret Mitchell's background in marketing and journalism has positioned her well with both secular and Christian media. She has appeared on FOX News with Neil Cavuto, Janet Parshall’s America, American Family Radio and scores of other television and radio shows. Her writings have appeared in U.S. News & World Report and National Geographic publications as well as on several Christian web sites, including CBN.com. Margaret is a Contributing Writer for Salem Communication's Career Channel, and she also has contributed to a number of Christian anthologies. Here is an excerpt from an interview with KYSS Radio Series "Keys TO Be Free" Blogtalk Radio on concerning the upcoming Expo 2008, and encouragement for women looking to enter the work field.
