Milestone Motivation is a faith-based organization devoted to helping people of all walks of life—religious, spiritual or otherwise—find their true gifts. “Few people truly recognize or understand their natural talents,” says Derrick Miles. “Our mission is to help individuals search deep within themselves to discover their spiritual gifts and put those talents to work improving lives, communities, and careers.”
Motivation
These twins uses humor, music, skits and video in a powerful way to draw the audience into the presentation. Darrayl and Derrick deliver funny, thoughtful and inspiring words of wisdom, helping the audience gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the unique gifts God has given each participant.
Movement
People rarely achieve their greatest potential by waiting for life to begin.
Darrayl and Derrick have seen through years of leadership that those who fail to identify their natural gifts become bored, burned out and burdened by a sense of futility in their work. This lack of passion rarely has anything to do with a person’s talent, skill or abilities. Instead, it’s a direct result of an individual burying their gifts and working outside their field of talents. Success and joy are found when we move from our competencies and toward our gifts.

There is no greater milestone in a person’s life than finding your true natural talents and putting them to work. Reaching this critical milestone allows you to reach your greatest potential. Meet Milestone Motivation
Darrayl Miles
Darrayl Miles is an influential entrepreneur, devoted father, passionate communicator and mentor. Early in his life, Darrayl had a calling for entrepreneurship, starting his first lemonade and lawn service business at the tender age of 7.
Prior to becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Darrayl spent 11 years working for Fortune 100 companies in sales and product management. Skills garnered in the Fortune 100 business world, combined with Darrayl’s entrepreneurial leadership, help guide Darrayl’s work with Milestone Motivation program participants. His success was only made possible after discovering his true gifts. Darrayl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Florida A&M University.
Darrayl has been married to his wife Twarnette for 10 years and has three beautiful daughters who are also walking in entrepreneurial paths. Darrayl willingly serves as the spiritual leader of his family and also leads those whom he mentors in the areas of relationship marketing, personal branding and strategy execution.
Derrick Miles
Derrick Miles is a powerful and authoritative leader, dedicated husband and father, and leadership mentor.
Prior to establishing Milestone Motivation, Derrick worked for 12 years in hospital leadership, holding numerous executive level positions in health care organizations throughout the southeast. Known for his encouraging and approachable leadership style, Derrick was instrumental in motivating, coaching and assisting with the development of hundreds of current and future leaders in various organizations. As a hospital administrator, Miles spent 10 of his 12 years in executive level positions before devoting his life to helping others identify, recognize, and utilize their gifts and talents from God. Derrick has been married to his wife Michele for eight years and their two sons are consistently taught the value of relationships and giving.
Derrick received his Master of Science in Health Administration Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2000, and also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Derrick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology from Bethune-Cookman University. He is also board certified in healthcare administration by the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Today, Derrick is thrilled to employ his spiritual gifts of leading and teaching through his work with Milestone Motivation.
