Forget the postman. This is the real deal of working through "rain, sleet or snow" as Christian moms working at home face the daily juggling act of keeping the family healthy, happy and whole.

Can Christian stay at home moms find the time to not only be there to serve their husband and children, but also help with the financial burdens with a computer based home business?

Yes! You can play a role in finding financial freedom using God's plan of believing, studying, praying, and working along with a strategic market plan!

I've asked, no screamed, out to God that question many times in the past few years after retiring from work as an announcer at a Christian radio station. What I found amidst the bumps and bruises of working home based businesses is a strategy and plan that works!

Trust God to give you direction in this preparation stage. He can strategically lead you to a reputable online businesses,simple to follow marketing plans, and wisdom to put it all together. The preparation and goal setting is the the solid foundation from which you build in this journey of being a successful stay at home mom in your business.

Study and Learn

Make steps to grow in your own personal development. The marketplace pays for value, and your value is your skills. You may have to learn a new skill to be effective in your business working at home. If you can learn the art of communicating and dealing with people, that one skill alone can help you in finding financial freedom from your computer based business to improving your relationships at home.

The idea is to take the time to dig in and study more on what you may already have a passion for, as you look at ways of generating an income. I have learned so much since my radio working days on using effective marketing strategies with legitimate home based businesses that can bring in multiple streams of income. There are some great resources online for stay at home moms who are looking for options to earn and find some financial freedom as they raise their families.

Manage Your Time and Work

Be dedicated to work the plan, disciplined to stretch the mental muscles, and consistent in an effective work ethic. This is not work to be busy, but work that has a proven track record to give the results you desire. (That is why preparation and study goes first)! Focus on the tasks that bring in the finances rather than the ones that drain your energy with no results, such as checking e-mail and instant messages. Think of yourself as one of the leaders for stay at home moms who is blazing a trail for others to follow. Speak life into your goals and visions and walk out the talk.

Keep your work area organized so when you have those block of hours to work, you can without the clutter distracting you. Focus. Work. You may not be able to find the funds to finance your advertising plan, but you can find the time to work and provide your own FREE advertisement by attracting people to your site. Forget Oprah. The "off" button on that television will do wonders in you gaining headway toward your vision of gaining financial freedom to serve.

Keep Your Relationships Healthy

Don't lose sight of your priorities amidst your earnestness to help your family's financial state. First and foremost, maintain your relationship with God. You need His strength, His guidance, His wisdom, and His Presence to help you keep your sanity amidst the demands of working at home. God has a way of honoring those who walk closely to Him. One moment of His favor can bring more blessings of wealth than 10,000 days of labor. Besides, He is the One who you ultimately are working to serve. What glory you can bring to Him by your faithfulness, obedience, and efforts. Cling to the Vine, Jesus and stay in the Word. Be that godly example of a Christian mom working at home.

In addition, stay prioritized in life. Keep working on your marriage. Family comes before your goals and deadlines. You only have one go around to raise your children and groom them for yheir future. Don't get caught up in the striving that you miss the laughing and living. A gentle good morning kiss on the cheek from my six year old son, or a sweet song sung by my 10 year old daughter are gifts that money cannot buy.
