Lights, camera, action.

The director of a movie says that for a reason! Lighting is a very important video marketing tip.

The lights found at Amazon are very reasonable. Best reviews on these from Steve Kaeser Photographic Lighting. I've ordered a set and probably will order two more soon.

When you are making your online video, you want to be seen clearly with no shadows or bright glare from the sun. A poorly lit video will be an instant turn off.

Find a place where you have some good natural light, quiet background with little noise and a place where you are comfortable as you look into that camera to make that connection with the viewer of your video.

You don't have to be a Hollywood producer. Use commons sense. Review what you shot on your camera. If you have any doubts, shoot it again.

Tip Number 3 Get A Decent Microphone!

I can't stress this tip enough. Audio is crucial. People will put up with poor video quality but NOT poor audio.

I use a wireless mic and a Blue Yetti mic. The Yetti is the best! It plugs into your computer in the USB port.

You can also get a inexpensive mic from radio shack or online at Amazon. Believe it or not, there are also mics for your I-Phone!
