Zeal For The Lord: 4 Keys To Stir Up Your Faith And Othersby Theresa CroftIn this Firebrand Video Ministry, I share from the Word about zeal for the Lord. This word of encouragement is based on 2 Corinthians 9:1-2: " Now concerning the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you; for I know your willingness, about which I boast of you to the Macedonians, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal has stirred up the majority." Do you have a zeal for the Lord that propels those around you to seek the Lord? God was touching my heart how sometimes I have more enthusiasm for other things, such as my producing videos or even sport teams. Even though I may write about zeal for the Lord in my blogs or in teaching how to proclaim that in video ministry, I still cannot seek those things more than my relationship with God. They may even be good things, like ministry, or church, or.... But do these other activities replace my zeal for the Lord? In this video ministry below, I share from the Acronym..Z-E-A-L, the four keys to help stir your faith in Jesus. Z - E - A - LSo here is a break down on this acronym of ZEAL.Z= Zero in on seeking first the Kingdom of God and HIS righteousness... E= Eagerly obey what God says in your life. A= Activate your faith. "Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God." (Romans 10:17) L- Love the Lord your God with all your heart..."Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' (Luke 10:27) These may be basic points but I believe they are the right kindle to light a fire and stir your faith up so you may return that zeal, that passion for Jesus back in your life!
